Following a similar strand to Prosthesis, this sketch piece investigates the affect when Material-Time stimuli are juxtaposed without the normal temporal transitions. Here a dead piece of sawn oak has one end re-configured as green shoots. One of the artwork’s faces again experiments with the subversive layering of inappropriate material-time stimuli (wood-boring insect flight holes).
